John graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1963. John worked as a Pharmacist until he was drafted in Oct. 1967. He was assigned to Irwin Army Hospital at Fort Riley, Kansas, as a Pharmacist until discharge in Oct. 1969. Today, John helps teach senior pharmacy students the art and science of compounding.
